Intra Uterine Insemination
I have developed protocols to supplement and enhance all intra uterine insemination procedures. These protocols include pre IUI treatments to enhance ovarian response prior to the uterine insemination. After a woman goes through an IUI my protocols are put in place to address luteal phase / Progesterone levels as well as blood flow to the uterine cavity.
Advanced Maternal Age
Traditionally, women age 35 or over who become pregnant are referred to as advanced maternal age or AMA. Pregnancy over 35 is not only more common than ever, but risk factors are being assessed on a personal basis vs generalized category. We now look more at the individual , and how her genetics, health history, and current health status play a role. In other words, age is just a number.
Low Ovarian Reserve
Low ovarian reserve is a condition that I see many of my patients being diagnosed with. This by no means indicates that a woman could not become pregnant. Through acupuncture and other modalities I have seen clinically tremendous results. It is important to remember that a baby is conceived with only one egg and one sperm cell.
In Vitro Fertilization
In my opinion couples going through IVF should start acupuncture three months prior to starting IVF medications. However this is very rarely the case. I have develop protocols to supplements and enhance all IVF protocols at any stage of the procedure. From stimulation to transfer date to post transfer all of my protocols are geared to complement and enhance the IVF journey.
Male Factor
Male factor in Fertility accounts for up to 50% of all infertility cases. Low morphology and low sperm count's are just some of the factors that can contribute to male factor inFertility. This in many cases can be corrected through acupuncture, herbal therapy's, dietary regulations and more. The genesis of semen is approximately 90 days, or three months to correct.
Delivery Induction
For thousands of years acupuncture has been used as an effective method to induce delivery. There are certain acupuncture points that are very powerful and are not used within the first trimester of pregnancy but are used to help induce delivery months later . The method is a safe alternative to medical induction
